Lynnette R. Jacquez

Lynn Jacquez’ professional background spans private law practice, government relations, and service in the Federal government itself. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School, she served as counsel for the House Judiciary Committee under former Chairman Peter W. Rodino (D-NJ). In her work for its Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees, and International Law, she had primary responsibility for drafting and processing the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 and refugee reauthorization legislation. After her tenure for the House Judiciary Committee, she entered private practice with Heron, Burchette, Ruckert & Rothwell, and later with McAuliffe, Kelly & Raffaelli.

In her government affairs practice, Lynn has been able to bring her clients a depth of experience in federal legislative law, with emphasis on state and local funding issues, transportation and technology projects, and minority business development. Her extensive experience in military base closure and reuse is a particularly valuable resource for the firm. She has worked with several local governments and private businesses in developing technology transfer projects to aid local economic development. She also has been successful in securing funding for advanced transportation technology projects and renewable energy production.

Lynn is a member of the District of Columbia Bar; a consultant to HISPANIC PAC USA; and a member of the Democratic Party Women’s Leadership Council. In addition, she is active in national organizations devoted to the introduction of alternative fuel vehicles. Lynn holds a law degree from Notre Dame University Law School.
